SEEKING CO-COMMISSIONERS for NEW ARRANGEMENTS
From their acclaimed & seminal recording What Is American comes a Co-commission for a suite for quartet and orchestra featuring the reimagination of Antonin Dvorak’s iconic ‘American Quartet’ by the GRAMMY-nominated, pioneering PUBLIQUARTET. Like the original work, this commission will feature an amalgamation of styles that trace their roots to American Indigenous and Black music.
In addition to support for creating these arrangements, PUBLIQUARTET seeks commissioners to arrange other works from their ground breaking 2022 album for quartet & orchestra for the 2023-2024 season.
